For instance, season three was filmed in Thailand instead of Japan due to favorable tax incentives. Bernad has expressed confidence that the next season will retain this trend of warmer locales, stating, “I’d bet $100,000 we don’t end up in the cold next.”
As for the cast of season four, no announcements have been made yet. However, casting director Meredith Tucker shared that actors are eager to get involved, with one agent reaching out because they heard of auditions starting. Tucker emphasized that work on casting will only begin after season three concludes. The musical side of “The White Lotus” may hit a snag for season four, as composer Cristóbal Tapia de Veer announced he would not return.
